Dr. Gentry's research interests include the study and instruction of: 1) vocal pedagogy as it applies to the choral singer and the ensemble setting; 2) non-verbal metaphoric gestures; 3) editing historical choral music; 4) choral/orchestral collaborations; 5) conductor wellness, and 6) the preparation and performance of new music.
