Dr. Yin's research interest is to explore and eventually to control the optic and electronic properties, as well as the light-matter interactions in judiciously tailored nanostructures and nanomaterials, which encompasses nanoelectronics and photonics, plasmonics and electromagnetic metamaterials, nonlinear optics and biophotonics, nanomaterials synthesis and characterizations.
