Research

research overview

  • In our lab we develop an accurate and precise light source by using a superradiant pulse emitted by a collection of strontium atoms inside an optical cavity. The characteristic of the pulse is determined intrinsically by the strontium atoms, specifically by the clock states. In this way, we are able to measure and characterize precisely different forms of collective interaction, as well as the limitations of the superradiant clock.
