  • Dr. Cremaschi's research areas include the study and performance of music of Latin America and Argentina, the study and dissemination of pedagogical repertoire by Latin American composers, the study and implementation of cooperative learning strategies in the piano classroom, the use of technology to aid the acquisition of piano skills, and the influence of self-efficacy beliefs in piano students' practice self-regulation, motivation and achievement. During his 2011 sabbatical, Dr. Cremaschi conducted qualitative research on how culture and social contexts influence piano teaching and learning in Mexico.
