research overview

  • Professor Chamberlin's studio practice includes drawing, sculpture, design and implementation of a Public Project, a large sculptural garden, large topiary practice in the north of Portugal, and ongoing research in plant sculpture. Chamberlin is currently working on a body of sculptures and drawings to be shown at Robischon Gallery. Date to be decided this year.

    Introduces techniques of hand-built clay forms as they relate to function and nonfunction. Various clay techniques, glazing and firing procedures are explored. Emphasizes ceramics in the broader context of contemporary art. May not be repeated.
