Apply individual and collaborative skills developed in previous coursework to rotating special topics in advanced documentary media arts practice. In this production course, students will investigate and employ specific theories, methods, and techniques for making documentaries. Areas of focus may include documentary cinematography, producing, and postproduction or themes such as engaged documentary, ethnographic media, environmental documentary, social documentary, archival documentary, etc. May be repeated up to 6 total credit hours.
