Conducts advanced research in techniques and tools of music technology. Topics vary from term to term and may include: user interfaces for computer music; advanced sound design; digital modeling of acoustic sounds; computer-aided analysis of sound; modeling music intelligence in real time. Lectures and work sessions will support student projects. May be repeated up to 9 total credit hours.
