- Scott Adler is Professor of Political Science at the University of Colorado, Boulder. His areas of expertise are the US Congress, elections, political institutions, comparative legislatures, and public policy making. Among his publications are his books Why Congressional Reforms Fail: Reelection and the House Committee System (University of Chicago Press, 2002), The Macropolitics of Congress (Princeton University Press, 2006), Congress and the Politics of Problem Solving (Cambridge University Press, 2012), and The United States Congress (2019).
