  • Dr. Sangbok Kim's research interests are in the areas of various conversational practices in ordinary and institutional settings (e.g., stance-taking in interaction; language learners' talk) and language teaching and learning with technology. He writes language textbooks for learners of Korean and works on developing smartphone applications and web platforms for learners of Korean, especially, for online courses.

The goal is to acquire Korean language skills at a level that allows students to conduct business activities.
  • KREN 3120 - Advanced Korean 2
    Primary Instructor - Spring 2018 / Spring 2019
    This second semester of Korean offers advanced level speaking and writing. Focuses on understanding contemporary Korean languages as reflected in various communication media, such as print, TV, and films to help students understand Korean in a variety of contexts.
