Jennings pays tribute to three individuals who have contributed significantly to the world of flute music and to her personally. When she was 13, she was given a handmade flute by Evelyn Hansen Hurd, along with four large boxes of flute music. Jennings discusses a flute she later acquired that had belonged to Howard Blume, chief of neurosurgery at Beth Israel/Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Finally, she highlights the donation by Martha Rearick of her extensive music library to the University Colorado.
