abstract
The article discusses the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the Court case Fisher v. University of Texas regarding college admissions policies. The Court upheld that race-conscious affirmative action could be used only when no race-neutral approach achieve racial diversity in education. It suggests an admissions strategy which demonstrates that class-based affirmative action efforts are valuable for increasing socioeconomic diversity and maintain racial diversity in school.
