'Dr. Toney has a magical ability to still make time for everyone he works with. Despite having a very large lab and many other responsibilities, he takes a genuine interest in both the personal and professional aspirations of his students, working tirelessly to connect them with the resources needed to achieve their goals. In short, Professor Toney made a remarkable impact on my time at CU Boulder, as well as for so many other students, and went above and beyond the expectations of a faculty member by greatly enriching my learning experience.'
