Surveys the theoretical and practical foundations for the design of patient-centered health and wellness technologies. Students will conduct an in-depth exploration of the multidisciplinary research literature informing the design of these systems, participate in discussions about the practical information management and interaction design challenges that must be addressed in their implementation, and demonstrate their learning through a variety of research study- and system-design activities.
