research overview

  • Professor Beale‚Äôs research interests include: theoretical condensed matter physics, especially statistical mechanics, phase transitions and critical phenomena, exact solutions of model systems, Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics simulations, and pseudorandom number generators. He also participates periodically in physics education research projects to expand interactive engagement teaching methods across our curriculum.
