Juleah Swanson is Head of Acquisition Services & Assistant Professor for the University of Colorado Boulder Libraries. Her primary research explores identity theory, specifically racial, ethnic, and professional identity, in the context of librarianship. Current research projects include qualitative research on the experience of academic librarians of color and the exploration of intersectionality within the library profession. Additional research areas also include the study of emerging trends in library acquisitions.
