research overview

  • The fundamental goal of my lab's research is to provide mechanistic insight into how architectural changes in chromatin regulate gene expression. We aim to discover the mechanisms underlying heterochromatin formation and establishment, and how such processes control cell type identity. Our work has broad implications for understanding the transcriptional/heterochromatin changes during cancer progression and metastasis.
