Journal Article
Overview
abstract
Zdenek Salzmann's account of the Arapaho transitive animate verb paradigm is corrected & completed by supplying inverse forms that involve two nonlocal participants & are attested in excerpts from traditional narratives recorded by Alonzo Moss, Sr. in the 1980s. Specifically, action by a third person obviative singular or plural on a third person proximate singular is marked by -eit; on a third person proximate plural, by -ei3i'. 2 References. J. Hitchcock
