It is important for the library to communicate about and create services for customers that enhance their lives, whether they come into the physical library or visit only online. As a librarian and administrator, Professor Reynolds strives to understand what researchers need and to make certain they understand what the library does and how librarians can help them to make connections and discoveries. Professor Reynolds research is heavily influenced by challenges encountered as a librarian; this drives research questions, provides research opportunities to make discoveries that should be shared with the library profession; and develops new practices to be integrated into librarianship. Broadly, her research interests involve improving services for constituents, such as the ability to purchase faculty and student materials requests more quickly, and the impact of organizational culture and leadership practices on library services, innovation, and recruitment.
FYXP 1500 - First Year Success Seminar

Designed to assist first-year students with their successful transition to the University of Colorado Boulder. Students will learn about campus resources, goal setting, study skills, and academic exploration. Participation in class discussions, self reflection, and engagement in course assignments are essential in this course. This course will provide a supportive environment for new students to engage with peers, staff, and faculty to support the first eight weeks of the transition to college.
