My research included studies of T cell-mediated immune responses, development and application of virological diagnostics and research tools, studies of herpesvirus molecular biology including the complete genome sequencing of more than 1,300 isolates from cases of herpes zoster, laboratory support for epidemiology to document vaccine effectiveness, laboratory studies describing the comparative effectiveness of vaccines, confirmation of vaccine adverse events.
