Research

research overview

  • My research is in three areas. The first concerns dynamics of urban change and the management of related environmental effects. The second focuses on use of technical information in city and neighborhood-scale decision-making, and design of related planning methods and tools. Finally, over the past few years I have become interested in planning and design pedagogy. Most of my recent work in the first two areas focuses on green infrastructure.
