  • Dr. Martuscelli's research is focused on Portuguese and Brazilian literatures from late nineteenth century to mid-twentieth century, with emphasis on the transition of the avant-garde movements in Portugal, and transatlantic relations between Portuguese and Brazilian intellectuals. She also develops research on contemporary Brazilian literature focused on Ecocriticism, Lusophone cultures, which includes Portuguese-speaking Africa, and teaching methodology.
