  • Bonnie Auslander is a poet, essayist, and radio commentator with a longstanding interest in teaching business writing and presentational speaking. A particular focus is training strong writers, whether graduates or undergraduates, in helping their peers become better writers. Other areas of interest are storytelling in business, pitches, pitch competition, case competition, speech anxiety, writing across the curriculum, writing in the disciplines, communicating across the curriculum, and faculty development.

  • BCOR 1030 - Communication Strategy
    Primary Instructor - Spring 2018 / Fall 2018 / Spring 2019
    Helps develop basic communication skills to prepare you for success in the business world. This communication and social science theory-based, skill-building course is framed in Fiske and Cuddy's person perception theory that all people are perceived on two dimensions, competence and warmth. You will learn how to use communication skills to strategically demonstrate those dimensions.
