Clarke is currently working on a book tentatively called 'Post-Democratic Politics in Denver,' an analysis of local economic development policies and neighborhood regeneration strategies in Denver, 1980-2012. In addition, she continues work on a long-term project on 'Muslims and Local Governance in London.' A chapter on this project is included in a University of British Columbia Press book on Segmented Cities (in press). A unique database on London borough voting patterns and contextual factors supports continued research on this topic.
