My research and creative work are at the intersection of technology, psychology, and design. I study soft robots, interactive objects, and responsive environments designed to help humans flourish. My projects explore a range of topics, critical investigations on the future of emerging technologies to human-centered research to validate the effectiveness of technological systems for therapeutic purposes. In my current practice, I design and test interactive systems to promote human wellbeing and research how design can be used to embrace neurodiversity. My work studies the relationship between humans and the physical environment at multiple scales, from products to buildings, and utilizes a diverse set of methodologies, including empirical studies, narrative storytelling and media products, and designing and building full-scale interactive artifacts and immersive environments. As a neurodivergent researcher (Autistic and ADHD), I am passionate about neurodiversity and design and aim to use research and design to create supportive environments.
ENVD 1010 - Studio 1: Introduction to Environmental Products of Design

In an immersive project-based studio environment students develop the foundation of design communication and thinking through a series of hands-on projects with physical outcomes.

Students design a small-scale architectural project that responds to environmental, contextual and programmatic needs while developing the necessary skills for iterative design processes.
