Research

research overview

  • My research activities involve master teaching and concert performance. I mentor violin students and young music professionals by honing their skills in violin performance, chamber music, and new music. As a concert violinist, I program, commission and premiere new works alongside the master works of the classical repertoire. My recording projects reflect a strong passion for vocal music, string chamber music, music education, and literature. As of May 1st, 2018, I joined the internationally acclaimed and award-winning Takacs Quartet that performs 80 concerts worldwide each year and records annually music CDs for Hyperion Records.
