My research activities involve teaching and concert performance. I mentor violin students and young music professionals by honing their skills in violin performance, chamber music, and new music. I also mentor young emerging composers and young music professionals in workshops designed to create new partnerships and new compositions. My research also involves creating musical events that generate awareness and financial support for food insecurity in local communities while also showing students the importance of volunteering and community-building. As a concert violinist, I program, commission and premiere new works alongside the master works of the classical repertoire. My recording projects reflect a strong passion for vocal music, string chamber music, music education, and literature. As second violinist of the internationally acclaimed and award-winning Takács Quartet, I perform concerts worldwide each year and record annually music CDs for Hyperion Records.
