My current research investigates animal knowledge in the discourses and practices of contemporary philosophy, science and popular knowledge. It brings together both modern and nonmodern traditions and evaluates their contributions to the field of Animal Studies as well as our everyday life. My second area of research at the moment focuses on the recent application of relational thinking (network theory) to Literary studies and to humanities in general.
