Research

research overview

  • My principal research interests are in the study of nonlinear wave propagation. As as applied mathematician, I am especially interested in collaborating with experimentalists, so that we build the theory and the experimental record together. Much of my recent work has focused on the dynamics of ocean waves, including their stability.

keywords

  • partial differential equations, with emphasis on wave propagation, and special interest in nonlinear wave propagation
