  • Dr. Safran is an integrative evolutionary behavioral and evolutionary ecologist. Her research is centered on the evolution of biological diversity, from molecular (genetics, hormones, antioxidants), individual (behavior, morphology), and population (gene flow, genetic structure) perspectives. She has also taught and conducted research in topics related to science communication and belonging in STEM.
